When I first learned the process of creating cold processed soaps, it soon became an obsession of mine. My creative side married with my brainy side and all of a sudden I had found an outlet that allowed me to utilize both. As an added benefit I was creating natural products that my friends and family loved. Watching raw ingredients come together through a chemical reaction and turn into a beautiful finished product is one of the most enjoyable parts of my business.
I started selling hand made soap to friends and family in 2014. When I realized what a demand there is for an all natural product that helps our local economy, I started the wholesale side of my business. As of June 2015 Hallowell Soap Works products can be found in 9 local retailers in the central Maine area, and internationally. If you are a local business looking to include Hallowell Soap Works products in your brick and mortar store, please visit the Contact Us page.
